The track, primarily sand-based, is made in a natural hillside and was host to a great weekend’s racing.
Oriol Oliver and Max Werner headed out into the MX2 timed practice with Oriol setting the fourth quickest time and Max just behind him in fifth.
Race one: Oriol had a good start in third with Max also inside the top 10. The fast-paced track meant the field quickly dispersed. Despite this, Oriol managed to reel in and secure second place with Max in seventh.

Race two: Oriol had a similar start to race one and set his sights on taking the lead. He ensured he did this early on and set the fastest lap of the race doing so. Max was showing some good form, but unfortunately, after a heavy landing off a jump had to retire from the race on lap four with a suspected broken wrist.

With a 2-1, Oriol secured the final overall of the series, standing on the top step of the podium.
With injuries contributing and Oriol joining the team later in the season, Oriol finished the series in third, Gyan in twelfth, and Max in fourteenth.

Oriol: “Happy with how we ended, happy with a win. The last race of the British and happy to finish third in the championship after missing some rounds. In the race, I had good starts and decent speed, especially in the second moto where I could make a nice gap over second place. I was happy with how the moto went. I still personally have two national races to go but am excited about what’s coming.”
Max: “Felt good coming into the weekend, last race for me and the team. Had an ok timed practice with fifth, my second-best time of the season at the British at another new track. I had a good start in race one, made one pass for seventh, which is where I stayed. This track wasn’t the best for passing, but I had an ok moto. Second race, my start was better, and I had a good pace. I was closing the gap to the front guy and almost passed him, but after landing off a jump that I’d been fine all day I felt a click in my wrist, which is broken, meaning I had to retire from the race. Was actually looking good but now focus on recovery. Really grateful to have this team behind me this season, shame we finished like this, but it is what it is. See you soon!”

Team Manager Shaun Simpson: “Final British Championship and our last race of 2025 completed for the team at Lyng.
“The track was fast and hard to pass as always but the boys had good speed and rode well during the motos. It was nice to see Oriol pick up another overall victory and finish third in the championship although hard to think what could have been had he managed to race at Preston Docks a couple months ago.
“Max was riding well and was having his best British Championship showing all year but unfortunately landed hard in moto two and sustained a broken wrist in the process. Tough pill to swallow as this is his second injury this year and it was his last race with the team.
“I would like to wish Max all the best in his recovery and future in the sport. I would also like to thank all our team sponsors for their support this season and hope to be working with them all again in 2026 and beyond.
“Looking ahead to 2026, we will be making an announcement shortly to inform everyone of our plans for next season.”
