Round 4 of the 2025 Sidecarcross British Championship brought plenty of excitement, drama, and unpredictability at School House MX. Despite some key teams missing from the lineup — including Hodges/Henderson, Kinge/Kinge, Williams/Watson, and Mudie/Grahame — the 18 teams that made it to the gate gave the crowd a lot to cheer about.

The day began under grey skies and gusty winds, but the track stayed dry, giving the riders a solid surface to race on. Practice rolled straight into Qualification, where the top 10 teams were:
Brown/Grahame, Wilkinson/Millard, Campbell/Horton, Ozzie/Mackay, Rogers/Beavis, Young/Scarr, Mudie/Mudie, Moore/Hodges, Banks/Hunt, and Whitt/Stevens-Wood.
Race 1 Recap
As the gate dropped, Wilkinson/Millard fired off the line and took the holeshot, followed closely by Brown/Grahame, with Rogers/Beavis sweeping into third around the outside. But the drama began early…
Campbell/Horton didn’t even make it off the start line — mechanical issues brought their race to an abrupt end. Not long after, a crash involving Mudie/Mudie shocked onlookers, as Stephen Mudie was struck by another bike.
At the front, Wilkinson/Millard set a blistering pace and began to stretch out a gap. Brown/Grahame chased hard, but it was clear that overtaking the leaders would be a tall order. Behind them,
Rogers/Beavis held their position, with Ozzie/Mackay, Banks/Hunt, and an impressive Team Wilson in hot pursuit.
Pelling/Murch put in a great performance ahead of Team Young, while Team Green and Peters/Harris fought fiercely for a Top 10 finish.
After 25 minutes + 2 laps of intense racing, the final results for Race 1 were:

Race 2 Cancelled
Unfortunately, heavy rainfall rolled in, making the track unsafe and, crucially, preventing medics from accessing the course safely. The race was cancelled, meaning Race 1 results stood as the final standings for Round 4.
A massive congratulations to Wilkinson/Millard on another flawless ride — they’re edging closer to Championship glory. Brown/Grahame’s consistency keeps them in the hunt, and what a moment for young guns Rogers/Beavis! Their first podium of the season shows just how far this duo has come.
Next Up: Round 5 – Duns, Scotland 27th July!
With only two rounds remaining, it’s all eyes on Duns. Can Wilkinson/Millard wrap up the championship? Or will the title fight go down to the wire?
