The MXoN is the annual world championship for national teams. The three riders each compete in their own class, vying for the joint title. During this highlight of the MX season, Coldenhoff will compete in the MXGP, De Wolf in the MX2, and Vlaanderen in the Open class.
Glenn Coldenhoff: “I’m very proud to be representing our country for the thirteenth time this year on Team NL at the Motocross of Nations in America. It feels special every time, and the drive and motivation are still as strong as ever. I’m really looking forward to it!”
Kay de Wolf: “It’s fantastic to be part of TeamNL again, this will be my fourth year. It’s always amazing to represent the Netherlands. I’m really looking forward to it, and we’re going for a great result together!”
Calvin Vlaanderen: “I’m incredibly happy and proud to have been chosen to represent Team NL at the Motocross of Nations. With my current form, I’m determined to put in a good performance and make our fans proud, along with Glenn and Kay. I can’t wait to be there!”
Barry Forschelen (KNMV national coach): “The Netherlands boasts a wealth of talent, with several leading professionals at the top of the world; we’re a true motocross nation. Team NL reflects that. The selection process is a bit of a puzzle every year, depending on many factors. I’m very happy with these riders, who have been excelling in their respective World Championships all season. We’re aiming for a podium finish in the US!”
