Team KBS Sherco rider Nieve Holmes has completed an outstanding 2025 season – her most successful to date – highlighted by national and international victories, consistent world championship performances, and another strong appearance representing Great Britain at the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE).
After a positive pre-season spent racing in the Portuguese Enduro Championship, where she claimed multiple wins despite missing two rounds, Nieve carried that momentum into the Expotrade FIM Women’s Enduro World Championship. Opening her world campaign with double podium finishes at the GP of Portugal, she immediately established herself among the front-runners and maintained a strong presence inside the top four all season. Her speed and consistency were further underlined at her home round in Wales, where she celebrated her first-ever Super Test win in front of a huge British crowd. Before being forced to miss the final round due to injury, Nieve was on track for a top-four finish in the championship.

On home soil, 2025 was a season of dominance. Nieve was crowned British Enduro Champion for the first time, winning seven of eight rounds in the Elite Championship Women’s class and overcoming a broken ankle at the final round to secure the title. Alongside this, she clinched the Women’s Welsh Open Sprint Championship crown with an unbroken run of victories through the opening rounds, sealing the title despite competing with a broken finger at the finale in August.

Her early-season success in the Portuguese Enduro Championship also saw Nieve finish as vice-champion, missing out on the top spot only due to two unavoidable absences while focusing on international commitments.
Capping off a remarkable season, Nieve once again represented Great Britain in the Women’s World Trophy Team at the ISDE in Italy, marking her sixth consecutive appearance at the prestigious event. Helping Team GB to a strong fifth-place finish, she delivered consistent top-10 individual results throughout the week, reinforcing her reputation as one of the UK’s most dependable and competitive female enduro riders on the world stage.
Nieve Holmes: “This season has been the best of my career so far. From double world podiums in Portugal to becoming British Enduro Champion and representing Great Britain again at the ISDE, it’s been incredible. It’s taken a huge amount of hard work, and I’m really proud of what we’ve achieved as a team. I can’t thank everyone enough – my family, sponsors, Team KBS Sherco, and everyone who’s supported me along the way. I’ve learned a lot this year and I’m already looking forward to building on it in 2026.”
