Team KBS Sherco rider Nieve Holmes has been crowned 2025 British Enduro Champion in the Elite Championship Women’s class, after sealing the title at the final two rounds in Devon last weekend.
It marks the first time Holmes has lifted the prestigious national title, capping off a season of dominance in which she won seven of the eight rounds. The only hiccup came on Saturday in Devon, when she bravely battled to a runner-up finish after sustaining an injury during Friday night’s Super Test.

Landing heavily on a ditch jump, Holmes broke a bone in her ankle but pushed through the pain across two gruelling days of racing in savage weather conditions. Despite being unable to put full weight on her ankle, she fought to second place on Saturday before rebounding in true champion’s style with a win on Sunday, securing the overall title in the process.
Holmes’ 2025 campaign saw her dominate the championship from start to finish, consistently setting the benchmark in the Women’s class while balancing international competition in the Expotrade FIM Women’s Enduro World Championship and representing Great Britain at the ISDE.

Nieve and Team KBS Sherco wish to thank all sponsors, partners, and supporters for their continued commitment throughout 2025, which has been vital in achieving this milestone national championship victory.
Nieve Holmes: “Becoming British Enduro Champion for the first time feels incredible. This championship has been a big goal of mine for a long time, and to finally achieve it after such a strong season is really special. The final weekend was one of the toughest I’ve ever raced – breaking my ankle on Friday made it a real battle just to get through the tests – but I wasn’t going to let it stop me finishing what I’d started. I can’t thank my team, sponsors, and supporters enough for everything they’ve done this year. From Sherco UK and Kiwi’s Bike Shop keeping my bike faultless, to Dr Shox Suspension and everyone behind the scenes, this title belongs to all of us. This season has been one of my best yet, and winning the British Enduro Championship is something I’ll always be proud of. I’m looking forward to a bit of rest to let my ankle heal, then I’ll turn my focus back to the final round of the EnduroGP in Germany to finish the year strong.”
