With just a few weeks to go until World Vets Motocross returns to the iconic Farleigh Castle circuit, many motocross fans may still be wondering exactly what the event is all about.
While the racing will undoubtedly be the centrepiece of the weekend, World Vets MX has evolved into much more than a motocross meeting. Taking place from July 24th-26th, the event is designed as a full weekend experience for riders, families and fans alike.
Set against the backdrop of one of Britain’s most famous motocross venues, spectators can enjoy two full days of racing featuring veteran riders from across the UK and around the world, with classes catering for riders aged 25 and over, with some big stars set to be lining up too.
However, once the racing stops, the entertainment continues.

A Full Weekend Of Entertainment
The organisers have put a strong emphasis on creating an event that appeals to the whole family, with a packed programme running throughout the weekend.
Friday afternoon offers fans the chance to meet many of the riders in a relaxed atmosphere before the racing gets underway, while throughout the weekend visitors will be able to browse trade stands, enjoy a range of food and drink options and soak up the festival-style atmosphere.
Adding to the entertainment will be the Urban Displays Bike Trials Stunt Show, with performances scheduled for both Friday and Saturday evenings.

Party Atmosphere After Racing
World Vets MX organisers are also placing a big focus on the social side of the event.
Friday night will feature live entertainment from singer and DJ Jodie Yang-Cooper, while Saturday evening will take on a Western theme, complete with line dancing lessons, themed entertainment and prizes for the best dressed cowboy and cowgirl.

Camping, Trade Village And Family Fun
For those wanting to make a full weekend of it, on-site camping is available, allowing visitors to stay right in the heart of the action.
The event will also feature a busy trade village, manufacturer displays, family-friendly facilities, bars, catering and big-screen entertainment throughout the weekend. Organisers have also confirmed that the event is family and dog friendly.
More To Come
Over the coming days Dirt Hub will be taking a closer look at some of the riders and personalities set to attend this year’s World Vets Motocross, including several well-known names from the sport’s past and present.
For now though, if you’re looking for a summer weekend packed with motocross, entertainment, food, camping and family fun, World Vets MX is shaping up to be one of the most unique events on the UK motocross calendar.
