Minta edges it at Coney Green! WOR WES Championship Finale – Race Report & Results

The weekend saw a superb finish to the 2022 WOR Enduro Sport WES series as it took to Coney Green for the final championship round of 2022.

Rain makes this venue better, tbh…. and all the riders had a great weekend.

The Stand Out winners and Riders were Ash Hand, Luke Ireland, Harry Jordan and Aaron Wyn Jones in the kid’s race.

Tom Minta won the adult race overall by a hairsbreadth from his Team Boss, the Evergreen John Shirt Junior, who as well as second overall, was the winner in the highly competitive Expert Vets.

James Elvin was the top Clubman and will certainly show a few Experts the way next season …

Chris Tompkinson won Over ’30s, Andy Jervis topped the Vets B, Chris Wagstaff again is proving unbeatable in Over 50’s, Jack Twentyman turned up his usual self and smashed the Over 57’s ..Dylan Tinker Smashed the Youth, Jack Willaims won the Sportsman, and Sam George topped Novice.

A great series comes to a great end.

WOR kick off the 12th running of the WULFSPORT winter series next week at Llandrillo forest with a 5 rd ( 4 to count) plus a wildcard series rounding off in Feb 23.

WOR 23 memberships open to the public on Saturday 5th November .. (current members have had this week to re-join and save their numbers)

2023 new licence details will be out very soon too…

The presentation for 2022 championships ..the WES / MECHLAM MOTO / WULFSPORT WINTER will be in springtime on a Saturday evening at one of next year’s WES series 23.

For now, a massive thanks to ALL involved in making these friendly and quality events happen…
