McLellan heads the MX2 title fight as we head to the MXGP of Switzerland!

The MX2 World Motocross Championship heads to Frauenfeld this weekend for round three of the 2026 season, as the MXGP of Switzerland presents a fresh test for the title contenders.

Camden McLellan arrives with the red plate following his breakthrough win in Spain, but with the season still in its early stages, there is little to separate the leading riders.

The switch to a hard-pack circuit offers a different challenge and another opportunity for the front-runners to build momentum.

Reigning champion Simon Längenfelder sits just behind and heads to a venue where he has been consistently strong.

The German’s form on hard-pack could suit the conditions well, as he looks to continue applying pressure at the top of the standings.

Guillem Farrés remains firmly in the mix and will be aiming to stay within touching distance of the lead.

Meanwhile, Sacha Coenen has shown strong speed this season and will be looking to convert that into a solid overall result, while Mathis Valin continues to impress and could be a factor again.

Rookie Janis Reisulis has been one of the standout performers so far and, with his fast starts, could once again put himself in contention.

Further down, Liam Everts will be aiming to build on his early-season form at a circuit where he has previously gone close to the top step.

With the points still close and the season only just getting underway, Frauenfeld offers another chance for riders to establish themselves in the early championship picture.

Ollie Colmer is the lone Brit and will be looking to improve on this 17th place in Spain.
