The Garland Powersports team are returning to the Motul ACU British Motocross Championship again for 2026 and will continue with Liam Garland and Liam Knight, who will both be racing in the MX2 class on KTM machinery, which will once again be prepped and maintained by Progressive Performance using Evotech Motors.
Garland finished the season in 17th place in the MX2 championship, with some impressive top ten performances at Duns before injury halted his season, while Knight finished 15th in MX1
Team Boss, Dave Garland said, “After our return to the paddock this year we had a lot of fun racing the British championship under the management of the new promoters and are excited to return again in 2026.
“This time around both riders will be in the MX2 class on KTM machinery that will be prepped and maintained by Jack Ives of progressive performance and running Evotech engines.”
“Both riders are currently working on their fitness off of the bike and will start bike testing in January. With great camaraderie amongst the team, we are all looking forward to the season ahead and are expecting both riders to be mixing it up at the sharp end in every race.”
“We are still negotiating with a number of potential team partners and hope to have everything in place by the end of January.”
