Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team’s Jonny Walker stormed to second overall at round three of the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Bilbao, Spain. Tackling one of the season’s tightest and most technical tracks aboard his TF 450-E, Walker claimed his third consecutive runner-up finish and continues to hold second place in the championship standings.
Kicking off the evening’s action in impressive form, Walker posted the second-fastest run in timed practice. He carried that momentum into SuperPole, where he clocked an impressive lap, two seconds faster than any rider before him, securing second place and underlining his pace on the demanding Spanish circuit.
Race one saw Jonny launch into the lead off the start and immediately come under pressure as he worked to defend his position on the narrow track. Managing traffic while fending off attacks from behind, the Brit looked settled at the front before a mid-race crash dropped him back into second. Despite a couple of further mistakes making it difficult to rejoin the fight for the win, Walker regrouped to hold second place through to the chequered flag.

With the start order reversed for race two, Walker made quick progress through the pack to sit fourth by the end of the opening lap. He soon moved into the lead and enjoyed a close battle at the front, with positions changing several times over the following laps. Ultimately, the TF 450-E racer was forced to settle for second once more, comfortably clear of third place and banking valuable points.
Race three followed a similar pattern, with Jonny again grabbing the holeshot and leading early on. A sustained fight at the front kept the pressure high throughout the opening half of the race, before a small mistake in the rocks briefly halted his momentum and allowed the lead to slip away. From there, Walker focused on damage limitation, maintaining second place to complete a consistent night of racing.

With runner-up finishes across all three races, Walker delivered another composed performance to take second overall in Bilbao and extend his podium run to three rounds. The result sees the Brit firmly established in second place in the SuperEnduro World Championship standings as the series reaches its midpoint.
Attention now turns to round four in Budapest, Hungary, on January 31, where Walker and the Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team will aim to keep their title challenge on track.
Jonny Walker
“Round three in Bilbao was challenging, but I’m happy to finish second again. The track was tough, and I had to work hard, but we had some strong starts and good battles throughout the night. We’re a long way from third, which is a positive, and I feel like with a bit more fitness and fine-tuning, we can close the gap to the lead. I’m confident for the next round and looking forward to battling for the win. Thanks to everyone for the support, and see you in Budapest!
