Three of motocross’ biggest names from both sides of the Atlantic are heading to World Vets Motocross, which takes place at the iconic Farleigh Castle circuit in Somerset from July 24-26.

American motocross legend Jeff Emig, Britain’s last World Motocross Champion Jamie Dobb and former World Championship star Rob Herring have all been confirmed for what is shaping up to be one of the biggest weekends on the British motocross calendar.
Proudly sponsored by S Briggs Commercials, World Vets Motocross has quickly established itself as far more than just a race meeting. Alongside two full days of motocross action, visitors can enjoy a packed programme of live entertainment, trade stands, camping, food and drink, family attractions and a festival atmosphere, making it one of the summer’s must-visit events.
Jeff Emig
One of America’s greatest motocross stars, Jeff Emig enjoyed an outstanding career that included two AMA Pro Motocross Championships, multiple AMA Supercross victories and numerous appearances for Team USA at the Motocross of Nations. Better known to fans as “Fro”, Emig remains one of the sport’s biggest personalities and his appearance at Farleigh Castle is sure to be one of the highlights of the weekend.

Jamie Dobb
Britain’s last FIM Motocross World Champion, Jamie Dobb etched his name into the history books when he claimed the 2001 125cc World Championship. The former factory rider remains one of Britain’s greatest-ever motocross racers and continues to be hugely respected throughout the sport. His return to the gate is always a special occasion for British fans.

Rob Herring
One of Britain’s most popular motocross riders of the late 1980s and early 1990s, Rob Herring enjoyed an outstanding career at both national and international level. A multiple British Champion, Herring finished fifth in the FIM 250cc World Championship, claimed three Grand Prix victories and played a key role in Great Britain’s historic 1994 Motocross des Nations triumph. Renowned for his spectacular riding style and determination, Herring remains one of the UK’s most respected motocross stars and a rider many fans will be excited to see back in action.

A Full Weekend Experience
World Vets Motocross offers much more than incredible racing.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can explore a bustling trade village, manufacturer displays, bars and catering, while families can enjoy a welcoming atmosphere at one of Britain’s most iconic motocross venues.
The Urban Displays Bike Trials Stunt Show will entertain crowds on both Friday and Saturday evenings, while Friday night features live music from Jodie Yang-Cooper before Saturday’s Western-themed party, complete with line dancing, themed entertainment and prizes for the best dressed cowboy and cowgirl.
On-site camping is available throughout the weekend, allowing fans to stay right in the heart of the action and soak up the unique atmosphere that has become a hallmark of the event.
