Team GB is pleased to confirm that Jamie McCanney will join the Men’s Trophy Team for the 2026 FIM 6DAYS Enduro of Nations in Portugal, stepping in following Steve Holcombe’s withdrawal.
A two-time world champion, McCanney has represented Great Britain at the 6DAYS six times already and was part of the historic Men’s Trophy Team that secured victory in 2022. With Portugal’s sandy terrain expected to suit him well, Jamie is highly motivated to race and make his mark at the 100th edition of the 6DAYS.
His experience and proven ability make him a valuable addition to an already strong Men’s Trophy Team, which remains focused on delivering a competitive performance in Grândola from October 12–17.

He’s a hugely experienced and talented rider, and the sandy conditions in Portugal are something he enjoys and suits his riding well.
