Jamie Keith to make his Pro debut at Bridgestone British Masters Foxhill finale!

British 125cc ace Jamie Keith will be making his Pro debut this weekend in the Bridgestone British Masters finale at Foxhill, where he will, for the first time be riding a Honda 250 four-stroke as the young talent prepares for a full season as a privateer in the British MX2 championship next year, alongside taking in some EMX250 rounds.

2025 has been a turbulent one for the rider from Cumbria, who landed a team spot with JK Yamaha Racing to compete in the EMX125 championship alongside the British Rounds after he won the Yamaha YZ bLU cRU Super Finale in 2024 at Matterley Basin.

Injuries sustained while training in Germany and then on EMX duty in the Spanish mudfest limited his racing activity, with him only managing one British round at Canada Heights, where he went 1-1, although he was visibly struggling. This showed that he certainly has the pace to mix it with the best.

At Foxhill this weekend, he will renew his rivalry with Josh Vail, who made the step up to the Pro ranks this year after going toe to toe with Keith for British Youth glory in 2024, with Vail just edging it.

Keith will be riding as a privateer in 2026 and will be one to watch for sure. We caught up with him about his move to a 4 Stroke and his plans for 2026…

Dirt Hub: 2025 has been a super tough year for you, how hard as it been to watch everyone race while you have been on the sidelines?

Jamie: It’s been painful to say the least, watching another British title slowly drift away was heartbreaking, but I’m pumped for Charlie (Richmond) to get the job done last weekend. I’ve also enjoyed the break as it’s the longest time off I’ve ever had in my career.

DH: Has that made you more determined for 2026?

Jamie: “I’m hungrier than ever now, getting back to the track with Ash Wilde, my coach, and getting in the gym 4 times a week, I think 2026 is hopefully going to be a strong season!

DH: We have seen you getting some laps in on the Honda. How has that been moving onto the 4-stroke?

Jamie: I like the four-stroke much better to ride, as I can be more relaxed and smooth. Even after the first session, when I got back on the bike, I was happy with everything straight away.

DH: You are racing at Foxhill in the Bridgestone this weekend. What are your expectations for this?

Jamie: I’m not expecting to do this and that, I’m simply going to ride my bike. I want to get back into the swing of things, whether I get 1st or last, I’m not too fussed, but my brother is racing as well, so I was going to watch anyway, so I thought, why not race instead!

DH: What is your plan for 2026?

Jamie: My plans are to hopefully try and stay injury-free and stay fit and consistent.
