The cat is out of the bag, and as we thought, Eli Tomac will be leaving Yamaha for pastures new, which has been confirmed by a Social Media post by Yamaha USA. It is expected that Eli will be announced as signing for the Red Bull KTM team, although there have also been rumours of a return to Kawasaki. Next week is going to be interesting for sure!
On the Post Yamaha put, “A Supercross championship, a Motocross championship, a Motocross of Nations title, dozens of race wins, and so many unforgettable battles, there’s just one thing to say: Thanks for the memories, Eli, what a ride it’s been!!!”
