Exactly one year ago, Yamaha Motor announced its investment in Electric Motion, becoming a strategic partner in the development of electric-powered off-road competition motorcycles.
Twelve months later, this collaboration has materialized with the unveiling of the YE-01 Racing Concept, a prototype jointly developed by the engineers of Electric Motion and Yamaha Motor Japan.
This motorcycle embodies the perfect synergy between Yamaha’s technological expertise and Electric Motion’s know-how in high-performance electric powertrains.
The YE-01 pushes the boundaries of electric off-road riding and features numerous innovations, including a hydraulic clutch, technology already proven on EM’s trial and off-road adventure models.
Electric Motion is delighted with this first tangible result of an ambitious partnership and is already looking ahead to future competitions within the framework of the upcoming
MXEP Championship.
