Newly crowned Motul ACU British 125cc Motocross Champion Drew Stock will step up to the MX2 class at this weekend’s MXGB finale at Blaxhall, with a top-ten finish his target on his MXGB 250 debut.

Having already achieved his main goal for 2026, Stock has been able to enjoy becoming British Champion before focusing on the next stage of his career.
“So since the title it’s been great. My mum and dad threw a little party which was good. I’m happy now I achieved that as it was my goal at the start of the year. British champ has always been a dream. So glad I could get it done on the 125s and grateful we can keep the bike too.
“I’m also happy that now I can make the next step into the 250s as I think my size and weight suits it better.”
Stock has already raced the 250, including an appearance in EMX250, but says adapting from the 125 has been a major change.
“The four-stroke bike is totally different. Absolutely nothing is the same. It’s not been easy getting used to it, but I feel better on it the more and more I ride it.”

At Blaxhall, Stock has set himself a realistic but ambitious first MX2 target.
“I will be racing Blaxhall in MX2, yes. I would really like to be in the top 10 for the first race on it. I think that’s realistic and very possible. I feel like a fair few people will be watching me and I really want to do well, so I have a bit of pressure, but only what I put on myself. All I need is a start!”
Offers on the table for 2027
Stock also revealed to Dirt Hub that while his 2027 ride isn’t yet confirmed, he already has offers on the table. His plans are to move into MX2 full-time domestically while also racing selected European rounds.
“Next year, nothing has been confirmed just yet, but I have offers on the table. In 2027 I will be racing the MX2 British and select few EMX250 rounds or maybe even MX2.”
Stock will also return to America for the Mini O’s aboard the 250, with the possibility of spending further time there training during the off-season, but for now all eyes will be on how he performs at Blaxhall in his MXGB MX2 debut.
