A full entry of 200 riders entered the annual Muntjac enduro, organised by Diss MCC Ltd and run on 16 November in Thetford Forest. Despite the very wet weather leading up to the event, the track rode extremely well and even with tightened timings, there were plenty of cleans across all classes. It was great to see so many happy faces at the finish – a fitting end to the 2025 season.

The battle for the win in the Championship class was focused on the special test, with the Championship class facing five tests. Ben Cole, (450 GH/G&B Finch Yamaha) dominated and was fastest overall by some 16 seconds and was only beaten on test two by Ben Clark (350 Beta UK/DCW/Tutton Beta) and by Jake Rackham (250 Lings Honda) and Callum Hughes (250 Beta UK/John Lee Beta) on the final test. The final lap would determine the overall positions, but all the top ten finishers went clean on the final tight check, meaning places were determined by the test times. Clark was fastest on this final lap, with Hughes second, closely followed by Cole. Rackham was the fourth and final rider to finish with two minutes to spare. Clark’s second place at the Muntjac confirmed his victory in the 2025 ACUE Enduro Championship.

The battle for top Expert was again decided on the test, with Jack Probert (250 ET James/Sherco UK Sherco) and Adam Reeve (450 Kawasaki) battling for the win. A slower second test from Reeve saw Probert nearly three seconds clear after their three tests. Probert ensured he’d take top spot by being the only rider to finish with 2 minutes to spare on the final check.
Andrew Lawton (150 Solo Classics KTM) took top spot in the Expert Vets just 0.5 seconds ahead of James Yearley (300 Beta). Despite Yearley and John Shirt (350 GAS GAS) being the only two Expert Vets to finish with three minutes to spare, it wasn’t enough, and Lawton came in on time to claim the win.

Josh Lister (250 GAS GAS) was a dominant winner in the Clubman class, finishing some eleven seconds clear of Jonathan Pearson (250 Triumph), with Lister reinforcing his dominance by being the only Clubman to finish with four minutes to spare on his final check.

Anthony Trawford (250 GAS GAS) took the victory in the Clubman Over 40’s, with John Hilton (300 KTM) again the victor in the Over 50’s, with test times that would have placed him second in the Over 40’s. Great to see Diss club member, Mark “Chappers” Chapman (250 Beta) win the over 60 super vets class more than 40 years after he started riding enduros.
Thanks go to the riders, support crews and spectators for helping to keep the forest clean throughout the day.

A huge thanks to all officials, marshals and helpers who contributed to making the 2025 Muntjac Enduro such a success. It takes a dedicated team overseen as ever by Clerk of the Course Andy Waters to deliver an event of this scale, and their continued support is genuinely appreciated by all at Diss MCC.
Finally, our sincere thanks to Forestry England and long-term sponsors, GH Motorcycles and Beta, for their valued support. Strong partnerships like these play a big part in making the event as professional as it is.
