Chad tops the Donut! Southend DMCC Donut Grasstrack – Results
The Southend and DMCC hosted another successful ‘Donut’ event which was held at the technical Purliegh Barns Farm circuit.

Young Chad Wirtzfield came of age in the 500cc solos, while Tim Neal won the 350’s and Ben Phillips the 250’s.
Mark Cossar and Gareth Williams continued their mighty fine 2021 by winning the 1000cc Sidecars and over in the 500cc chairs in was Simon Beard and Shane Freeman who were victorious. Danny and Harry Hill grabbed the Left Hand Sidecar victory.
Danny Curl topped the lot in the GT 140’s and in the Upright 500’s Ashley Hill fought hard for the win. Chris Mackett was the victor after the four legs of Pre 75 races as was Colin Strudwick in the Quads.
Archie Rolph came good in the Junior youth class.
