Earlier this month, Brad Skeates and the Waterlooville Motorcycle Club announced the dates for the event, and now the much-anticipated venue has been revealed — marking the return of world championship sidecarcross racing to one of the UK’s most iconic motocross tracks.
Brad Skeates – Organiser, Waterlooville Motorcycle Club:
“It’s amazing to be bringing world championship sidecarcross back to Canada Heights in 2026 after so many years away. The 2025 event at Foxhill was incredible, but due to issues out of our control, we couldn’t return in 2026 with the date we had in the calendar.
I would like to thank Paul Cook, Ronnie Fields and the team down at Foxhill for the 2025 GP – you were brilliant to work alongside.
I approached the Sidcup Club, and after a meeting with the committee at the track, they agreed for us to hire the venue. They are also going to allow me to make changes to the track to make it more sidecar-friendly, just like it used to be.
I would like to thank the Sidcup Club for allowing us to bring a world championship event back to the famous Swanley venue. The 2026 British Sidecarcross GP is going to be brilliant and I cannot wait to now begin organising this event, now that we have a confirmed venue.”

Canada Heights is a historic and much-loved venue, renowned for its unique terrain, elevation changes and brilliant spectator viewing. It last hosted Sidecarcross Grand Prix racing in 2001 and remains one of the standout circuits in British motocross.
Dave Edwards – FIM Race Director
“Being a former Sidcup committee member, when Brad mentioned that he couldn’t go to Foxhill but had been in contact with the Sidcup Club to ask permission to hire the
venue, I was so excited about this, as the venue means a lot to me. I thought it was truly great news. From being at the sidecar GPs back in 2000/2001 at the Heights, it’s
great that it’s coming back.Well done to Brad and the Waterlooville Motorcycle Club for once again getting a British GP — no doubt 2026 will be just as good as this year’s GP back in May at Foxhill. Make sure you’re there!”
Fans can expect a world-class weekend of racing, featuring the top international teams of the FIM Sidecarcross World Championship, as well as a strong British line-up including Brett
Wilkinson and Joe Millard, multiple British Champions who finished third in the 2025 World Championship.

The event will also host a round of the European Quadcross Championship (EMX), where fans will see Britain’s Harry Walker line up with the #1 plate after securing his second European Championship title in the 2025 season. The addition of the quadcross championship makes the 2026 event a true celebration of world-class off-road racing, bringing together the best of both disciplines across an action-packed weekend.
Further details, including ticket information, will be released in a few weeks.
