British Under 21 Motocross Championship glory for Charlie Heyman!

What a season it’s been for Charlie Heyman, being crowned the 2025 British Under 21 Motocross Champion and finishing as runner-up in the British MX2 Championship, taking it to a last race decider against eventual champion Tommy Searle, whom he has “looked up to” all of his life.

Charlie has undoubtedly grown as a rider in 2025. With the guidance of the SC Sporthomes Husqvarna team, who have given Charlie the opportunity to race in America, in Scotland and at the EMX250 round at Matterley Basin, we can only see him gaining further in confidence and being a title contender again in 2026 when he will once again be racing for the SC Sporthomes Husqvarna team.

On top of all of this, Charlie retained his Scottish MX2 crown.

After the final round at Lyng, Charlie posted on his social media:

“250 under 21 British champion and 2nd in the whole 250 championship 😁

“The last round at lyng was a strong finish going 3,4 in the motos with having to pass a few riders both races due to me putting myself in not such a great position the first lap 🤦‍♂️

“But all together what a season it has been for me tho, improving all year step by step and being one of the fastest guys in the country at the end of the season, I have looked up to Tommy searle all my life as one of the best riders of all time, and now I am racing him for the championship even down to the last race,

“Thank you to all my family and friends and sponsors that get me here and keep believing in me, the hard work payed off ❤️”
