Hosted by Ramsey Motorcycle Club, the annual event is one of the most distinctive and eagerly anticipated stops on the EnduroGB calendar. The challenging route combines deep sand, fast-flowing forest tracks, technical woodland and green lanes, providing one of the biggest tests of the season for both riders and machinery.
The championship arrives on the island following a demanding double-header at Helmsley in North Yorkshire, where riders tackled a return to the traditional timecard enduro format across two days of tough competition. With the series now approaching its halfway stage, every championship point will become increasingly important as the title race begins to take shape.
Etchells Takes Championship Control
Isle of Man hero Jed Etchells strengthened his grip on the Elite Championship standings after a commanding performance in Yorkshire, and will be looking to replicate that feat on home turf.
The Moto-Fit Racing Sherco rider claimed victory on both days at Helmsley to move onto 72 championship points, opening up a slender advantage over Jack Edmondson, who maintained his consistent form with two runner-up finishes.
Alex Walton completed the Elite podium on both days, while early championship leader Jamie McCanney suffered a major setback after sustaining a knee injury during Saturday’s event, forcing him out of the remainder of the weekend and dropping him to fourth in the standings.

In the Elite Women category, reigning British Champion Nieve Holmes continued her impressive start to the season by securing victory on both days, while Rosie Rowett and Elizabeth Tett completed the podium across the weekend.
Elsewhere, Connor Watson impressed in the Expert class, Josh Lister claimed a brace of Clubman victories and Will Atkinson came out on top in the highly competitive Clubman Youth category.

Home Riders Ready for Isle of Man Challenge
This weekend’s event provides the Isle of Man’s riders with the opportunity to compete on familiar terrain in front of home support.
Alongside Etchells, Jack Keenan will be hoping to continue his encouraging debut campaign in the Elite Championship class aboard his Fast Eddy Racing Triumph. The 20-year-old currently sits ninth in the standings after the opening four rounds and will be aiming to use his local knowledge to climb further up the leaderboard.
Fellow Manx riders will also be looking to make their mark across the various championship classes as the EnduroGB series returns to one of its most popular venues.
The island’s unique combination of sandy going, flowing forest tracks, technical woodland and green lanes presents a completely different challenge to the opening rounds in Wales and Yorkshire, rewarding riders who can quickly adapt to the constantly changing conditions.
Championship Battle Continues
With only four points separating Jed Etchells and Jack Edmondson at the top of the Elite standings, the championship battle remains finely balanced heading into rounds five and six.
The Isle of Man has traditionally produced close racing and unpredictable results, and with valuable points on offer before the series heads into the second half of the season, another competitive weekend is expected.
Saturday’s fifth round will start from the centre of Ramsey, while Sunday’s sixth round gets underway from Mooragh Park Promenade, which will also host the finish on both days.
