A brand new Supercross event, “The only way is SX” aka TOWI SX, is set to take place at Kelvedon Hall, Brentwood, Essex, on the 12th & 13th September, with the promoters aiming to deliver one of the biggest family-friendly motorsport events of the year.
This is more than just a Supercross race; TOWI SX will combine elite racing with a music festival, funfair, trade village, food village, camping and entertainment, creating a full weekend experience for riders, fans and families alike.
A great entry of Pro riders have already been confirmed, including the likes of Jack Brunell, Dylan Woodcock, Martin Barr, and Eddie Wade, with Youth & Amatuer classes also running.
TOWI SX is promoted by Pinnacle Trax Ltd, founded by John Slade and Alfie Smith, with John saying about the event, “A key objective of the event is to introduce new people to the sport. Alongside the racing, there will be adult and youth motocross experiences on a separate basic Track including electric bikes and protective equipment, allowing newcomers to safely experience riding for themselves.
“In the lead-up to the event, a series of Supercross training days will be held on the SX track for registered riders. These sessions are designed to help riders become familiar with Supercross- learn new techniques, improve both skills and safety while encouraging more UK riders to embrace the discipline.”

After several years viewing different venues across the country, the team has joined forces with Jay Archer of Kelvedon Moto Park and the team at Kelvedon Hall Estate, whose existing festival infrastructure and stunning venue provide the perfect setting for a major Supercross event.
John and Alfie are passionate about growing Supercross in the UK. The AMA Supercross remains one of the most-followed motorcycle racing series in the USA; Australia also has a great SX series, Europe continues to see strong growth in the sport, the WSX World Supercross Championship is expanding quickly too, and the UK has fallen behind. TOWI SX aims to help change that.
Looking ahead, the vision is to launch a three-round summer series in 2027, culminating in a festival-style finale at Kelvedon Hall to celebrate the sport and the community around it.
This year’s event will feature a UK-only Pro class, supporting homegrown talent and giving British riders a platform to showcase their abilities.
