Brad Todd on the "toughest race I’ve ever had" at Spring Creek

Brad Todd continues to live out the dream of every motocross racer, having raced at the Spring Creek National at Millville on Saturday, where he qualified through to the main races in 26th after topping the Group B session in the first session.

Todd, in a candid post on his social media, that Moto one was the“toughest race I’ve ever had” due to the “humidity, heat and intensity”, but howevr tough it is the British racer is having a ball right now saying that regardless of the results “I’ve got the biggest smile on my face right just achieving the racing.”

Although he DNF’d race one he finished the second moto in 31st after coming through from 40th.

Brad will be back racing the Motul ACU British Motocross Championship at Preston Docks on Sunday, where he will be looking to use his AMA pace to his advantage.

Brad’s full post is below:

This track is up there with one of my favourite tracks to ride but man if I thought thunder valley (where I qualified 8th) was physically traumatic, I was in for a treat this one🤣
Qualified p26 this one out of 80 riders

Race 1 was the toughest race I’ve ever had, the humidity, heat and intensity combined was something I’ve never experienced, so in all honesty I just pushed way to hard at the start then gassed out mega early and couldn’t hold on 🤦‍♂️🤣

Race 2 was a better improvement, I was up there off the start but got punted off track so 40th to 31st which I’m happy with.

Regardless of result, I’ve never in my life been laughing to myself on a sighting lap thinking this is mental that I’m here. I’ve got the biggest smile on my face right now just achieving the racing 🤣

Big thank you to @theprivateersupportprogram for the hospitality, insanely cool experience!

The graft getting here is done now, I’ve learnt a huge amount with the racing at that one. I will be much better the next time round 👍🏻

Massive thank you to the people helping me make this dream come true!
