Brad Anderson leads Team GB to victory! 2025 Farleigh Castle Vets MX – Rundown, Pictures and Results

The hallowed turf of Farleigh Castle was once again torn up by the veritable 2-stroke feast of the 2025 Farleigh Castle Vets Motocross at the weekend, where Team GB ruled the roost in the Team Race and there were a number of epic performances in the individual races…

Dakar Ace Sam Sunderland drew first blood in the Team racers, but Brad Anderson fired back with three moto victories of his own, and led Team GB to glory alongside Josh Spinks and Elliot Banks-Browne, ahead of the HM Racing team in second with RC Motorhomes making it onto the box in third.

Luke Dean was in fine form in the 125cc class, taking the overall with two wins to his name, with the other chequers going the way of Nev Bradshaw in second overall and Jordan Barrs in third.

In the Evo Open Over 30, Steve Bixby fought off Nigel Kibble and Gareth Artus for the title, with these being the 1,2,3, while in the Evo Open Over 40, James Kensington was a racer on a mission, getting the better of John May and Pete Bulley with some great riding.

James Kensington was consistent in the Evo Open over 40’s class and was to take the overall.

Nigel Kibble worked hard in the Evo Open over 30’s class and took second overall.

The Evo Open Over 50 saw Brian Wheeler at his majestic best, rattling off four moto wins for the overall head of Andy Watkins and Simon Bonser.

Gavin Stevenson reigned supreme in the Evo Ultra Open, standing on the top step of the podium with Kris Ayres second and Harry Bradley third.

Jamie Skuse was in dominant form in the Super Evo Open over 30’s and took all four race wins.

The Super Evo Over 30 saw Jamie Skuse blitz the field with maximum points, James Barnwell was second, and Ty Kellett was third, while in the Super Evo Over 50’s Laurence Wiltshire edged out Danny Blakely courtesy of a last-moto victory, with Chris Hind joining these two on the podium in third.

No 57 Jason Fountain and No 781 James Lane in action in the combined Twinshock and 2-Stroke class.

In the Twinshock 50-59 class, Mark Slade took the honours ahead of Jason Fountain in second and Allain Colin third, while in the Twinshock 60-70 Alan Bott reigned supereme over Mark Gleadhill and Andrew Prosser.

Mark Eastwood won out in an all star Evo Ultra Over 50 category ahead of American star Doug Dubach with Phil Lewis in third.

No 15 Doug Dubach and No 28 Phil Lewis, with No 3 Mark Eastwood battling it out in the Evo Ultra Open over 50’s class

Bryan Mackenzie topped the 2 Stroke Over 40’s (any age bike), with Gavin Robertson second and Tom Gilbert third.

Once again, it was another fantastic Farleigh weekend which defied the weather. Roll on 2026!
