Rain showers failed to stop the Formula Grasstrack Association from successfully completing Round 3 of the 2026 Allclear Services Ltd Championship last Saturday.

Despite several downpours throughout the day, track conditions remained largely unchanged, allowing riders across all classes to put on an excellent display of racing.
In the E-Bike class, Cruz Harris completed a flawless seven-ride maximum to secure only his second-ever grasstrack meeting victory. Riding a new machine, Harris was lightning-fast from the gate and consistently got the better of reigning champion Reggie Goodwin, who claimed second place ahead of the ever-improving Hadlee Jones.

Harry Wicks rode consistently to finish fourth, while Oscar South placed fifth despite missing two rides later in the meeting. Blake Woolley, Florence Rickards, and Maddie Adams all impressed, finishing sixth, seventh, and eighth respectively in another strong E-Bike field.
Birthday boy Levi Collins was another rider to complete a seven-ride maximum. Celebrating his ninth birthday on the day, Collins was in superb form and went unchallenged in the Auto Cadet class. Grayson Rickards remained composed to secure second place, with Harry Worrall completing the podium in third.

Stanley Austin made his first appearance with the FGA and finished fourth, while Oxford Speedway mascot Isla Gannon placed fifth in her first-ever grasstrack meeting. Isla also earned the Rider of the Day award.
Dalton Wright was the sole representative in the Cadet class and successfully completed all seven of his rides in the combined Auto and Cadet races, frequently applying pressure to Levi Collins.
Reigning Cub Champion Lucas Astley continued his dominance of the class, also going unbeaten throughout the afternoon. Astley was able to hold off the hard-charging Rogan Woolley, who secured a very solid second place and is certainly one to watch for the future.

Albie South’s run of bad luck continued as the Chelmsford youngster suffered gearbox problems. Despite the setback, he battled on to finish third. Dakota Wright continued to show progress on his new machine for 2026, taking a strong fourth place ahead of the returning Lilly Bence, who was competing in the class for the first time this season.
Lillie-Mai Warwick continued to improve with every race. Despite suffering a fall in her final ride, she secured sixth overall ahead of the returning Kaylem Bourne.
The Junior class featured a strong battle between Archie Whitelam and John Cox Jr, with the pair putting on an entertaining display throughout the afternoon before finishing first and second respectively.

In the Senior class, Wayne Broadhurst’s domination continued as he completed another unbeaten meeting. Making lightning-fast starts throughout the day, he was never seriously challenged. Graham Thomas claimed a strong second place, with his only defeats coming at the hands of Broadhurst.
Kevin Gwillam rounded out the top three, narrowly getting the better of late entrant and former FGA Junior Champion Eli Meadows. Meadows was competing on borrowed machinery from Graham Thomas after his own Honda developed mechanical issues during practice.

Glyn Edwards battled hard all day and was rewarded with fifth place ahead of the ever-present Adam Hawker, who finished ahead of veteran Colin How. Sam Crabtree fought his way into the top eight but suffered a seized engine in the final race of the day.
