The Amped EMX Sparks British Masters broke new ground at Round Four as the championship visited Motoland near Bath for the first time.

The new venue proved to be a fantastic addition to the 2026 calendar, producing two days of close racing, dramatic battles and several finishes that went right down to the wire.
It was a huge weekend for the series, with three tracks operating throughout the event to accommodate the championship’s wide variety of electric balance bike, electric motocross and petrol motocross classes.
With Rounds Five and Six also taking place at Motoland, riders and families will not have to wait long before returning for more action.
Here is how the Round Four overall results unfolded.
Junior Tracks
12” E-Drive Balance Bike
Chester Crump continued his outstanding season with another faultless performance. Easily recognised by the famous mohawk on his helmet, Chester collected the maximum 225 points and extended his championship advantage.
Jessie Arnold secured second overall on 204 points, finishing six points ahead of Maisie White in third.
Ruben Lee was once again talking his way around the track inside his helmet and finished an excellent fourth, just four points away from the podium. Luca Cooke completed the top five

16” E-Drive Balance Bike 250W
The 250W class delivered action throughout the weekend, with three different race winners showing just how competitive the field had become.
Poppy Meredith recovered brilliantly from a difficult opening ride, responding with three victories and a second-place finish to take the overall on 213 points.
Noah Dark was consistently among the leading riders and secured second, just six points behind Poppy. Henry Waterman’s confidence continues to grow, and he finished the weekend with his first race victory to complete the podium.
Albie Grey Mellows was also in the mix throughout the event and missed the podium by only five points.

16” E-Drive Balance Bike 400W
Jimmy Smith and championship leader Tommy White produced one of the closest battles of the weekend.
Jimmy claimed three race victories, while Tommy won the remaining two motos. When all five results were calculated, Jimmy took the overall by just three points.
Jesse Aldred completed the podium, ahead of Ryker Grant and Renny Arrowsmith.
Motoland track owner Tom Brown’s son, Reggie Brown, made a late decision to race on Sunday. Despite concentrating mainly on football, Reggie did himself proud on his debut and may well have caught the racing bug ahead of Round Five.

18” E-Drive Balance Bike
Harry Meredith was untouchable throughout the weekend, winning every race and recording a maximum 225-point total to strengthen his championship lead.
The battle behind him was much closer. Joey Jones secured second by four points from Seb Carr, while Jenson Chiles finished another five points behind in fourth.
Aria Jones showed tremendous determination to return to the racing after a nasty-looking fall, eventually securing sixth overall. Harper Luxton finished only one point behind her in seventh.

20” E-Drive Balance Bike
The 20” class produced exciting racing, with Cellan Rees, Rupert Foden and Cian Bradshaw regularly swapping positions at the front.
Cellan won three of the five motos on his Amped 20` Comp bike and secured the overall by seven points. Rupert took the remaining two race victories and finished second, with Cian completing the podium.
The battle from fourth to sixth was equally competitive. Freya Waterman took fourth by only two points from La Miya Murphy, while Emy Gardner finished another three points behind.

Chester Crump completed an exceptional weekend by adding the E1 overall victory to his success in the 12” class.
Chester scored another maximum 225 points, finishing 15 points ahead of Freddy Fenwick.
The Crump family also had the challenge of managing Chester’s different outfits, with an orange kit and matching mohawk for one class before a complete change into red for the other.

William Jago came out on top in an extremely competitive E2 class, securing the overall by five points from Boston Cleft.
Only six points separated second through fourth. Boston took the runner-up position on 202 points, with Tommy Brown third on 199 and Tommy Lawn fourth on 196.

Reggie Lewis was the clear runner-up on 204 points, while Boycie Clements completed the podium.

The PW50 class is always entertaining, and Motoland was no exception.
Henry Lewis and Mason Murley shared all five race wins and were separated by only three points after a weekend-long battle. Henry took three victories and the overall, while Mason claimed the other two wins and finished second.
Taytum Hickey completed the podium on 200 points, with Tommy Haliday fourth and Liliana Stephens fifth.

E3
The E3 class provided drama and close racing across all five motos, with four different race winners during the weekend.
Jimmy Smith took only one individual race victory, but his consistency across the event earned him the overall win on 211 points.
Championship leader Marley Jobson won the opening moto and finished second overall, seven points behind Jimmy. Cameron Raynes showed impressive speed and claimed two victories on his way to third.
Blake Thomas remained in contention throughout the weekend and finished fourth. Henry Chamley ended his event on a high by winning the final moto and beating George Kidd to fifth by just two points.

Colby Fletcher was unstoppable in the E5 class, collecting five victories and the maximum 225 points.
Colby also kept the crowd entertained with plenty of style and wheelies throughout the weekend.
Jimmy Briggs produced a strong performance to secure second overall, while only one point separated Kayden Waldock and Theo Hancock in the battle for third. Kayden claimed the final podium position on 187 points.
Elvis Hugh and Teddy Williams finished level on 155 points, with Elvis taking eighth through the tie-break.
Ricoh Burke Easton completed the top 10 after several impressive rides. Everyone at EMX Sparks was also pleased to see him back on his feet following a heavy fall on the step-up jump.

Frankie Hargreeves completed a perfect weekend in E6, scoring the maximum 225 points.
Frankie also finished ahead of the larger E9 machines running alongside him, producing an outstanding performance across the two days.

Jemmima Tooley and Poppie Randall produced a close battle for the E9 overall, with only three points separating them at the conclusion of the weekend.
Jemmima secured the victory on 219 points, with Poppie second on 216.
Poppy Birkett endured a difficult weekend after her bike developed problems during practice. Fortunately, she was able to borrow a smaller machine and collect valuable championship points, securing third overall and keeping herself firmly in the title battle.

50cc Auto Small Wheel
The Small Wheel Auto overall went right down to the wire, with Jacob Perkins beating championship leader Amiyah Haughton by only two points.
Amiyah experienced a dramatic weekend, including twice falling shortly after the opening corner and having to charge through the field. Despite the setbacks, she produced several excellent recovery rides and retained her championship lead.
Theo Hancock completed the podium, just three points ahead of Tommi Lewis.

Charlie Needs continued his dominant form with another maximum-points performance, winning all five races and extending his championship lead.
Ronnie Evans pushed Charlie during several motos and secured second overall, six points ahead of Rory Ritzka in third.
Apollo Newton took fourth by four points from Ethan Thomas, while Harry Perkins and Huxley Gilchrist tied on 149 points for 10th and 11th. Harry secured the final top-10 position through the tie-break.

The 65cc class featured a stacked line-up and delivered high-quality racing throughout the weekend.
Louis Odwyer emerged as the overall winner on 220 points, finishing 15 points clear of Colby Fletcher.
Colby completed an excellent weekend by adding second in the 65cc class to his E5 victory. Championship leader Ellis Owen secured third overall.
Lewis Tobin finished fourth, four points ahead of Freddy Jones, while Brennon Swain impressed during his first EMX Sparks appearance and has already indicated that he plans to return for the remaining rounds.

Miles Boucher continued his dominant championship form with five race wins and the maximum 225 points. Miles rode with speed and style throughout the weekend, although Frank Wallis pushed him hard before suffering a heavy fall. Everyone at EMX Sparks sends their best wishes to Frank and hopes to see him back at the track before the end of the season.
Joe Robinson secured second overall, six points ahead of Ted Tooley in third.

Jexten Taylor produced another faultless weekend, scoring the maximum 225 points and further strengthening his position at the top of the championship.
Cadi Bradshaw enjoyed an excellent event and secured second overall by only two points from Milo Williams.
Efan Jones finished another two points behind Milo in fourth, demonstrating just how close the battle for the podium had been.

Harvey Thomas was in outstanding form, winning all five races and recording the maximum 225 points. Oli Staples enjoyed a strong weekend to secure second overall and move into the championship lead following a difficult event for previous red-plate holder Amiee Needs.
Macauley Williams completed the podium, finishing four points ahead of Phoenix Denner. Kai Churchwood took fifth, ahead of Cameron Addis and Amiee Needs.

Round Four Complete
Round Four was an excellent first visit to Motoland and another memorable weekend for the EMX Sparks community.The warm and dry conditions produced two fantastic days of racing, although after such a prolonged period without meaningful rainfall, everyone involved would now welcome some much-needed moisture to help the country’s race tracks and ground conditions.
A huge thank you goes to Motoland owners Tom and Alan Brown for allowing EMX Sparks to take over their fantastic venue. Thanks must also go to Tom Church for the exceptional dust-suppression work. Despite the event taking place in the middle of a drought and featuring five blocks of racing across three tracks, dust was kept to an absolute minimum.
Finally, thank you to all of our officials, sponsors, marshals, medical teams, track crews, volunteers and, most importantly, every rider and family who helped make the weekend such a success.
