The countdown is on for the highly anticipated start of the 2026 Amped EMX Sparks British Masters, as riders prepare to kick off the season with an action-packed Warm-Up Event on April 18th–19th at Monster Mountain MX.
Following a hugely successful 2025 season, the EMX Sparks series returns bigger and better, continuing to establish itself as the UK’s leading youth-focused electric and junior motocross championship now expanded to include petrol classes for 65cc and 85cc riders.
A SERIES BUILT FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
The Amped EMX Sparks British Masters has rapidly become the go-to platform for young riders, offering a professionally run, inclusive, and progressive race environment. Catering for riders as young as 3 years old on electric balance bikes, right through to youth riders on full-size electric and petrol machinery, the series bridges the gap between grassroots and competitive racing.
With a strong emphasis on accessibility, rider development, and family-friendly racing, EMX Sparks continues to attract both first-time racers and experienced competitors alike.
WARM-UP WEEKEND: THE PERFECT SEASON OPENER
The upcoming Warm-Up Event provides riders with the ideal opportunity to get race-ready ahead of the championship rounds. Hosted at the iconic Monster Mountain MX, the weekend will feature:
- Practice and full race format across multiple classes
- Three-track action ensuring maximum track time
- Professional timing with MyLaps transponder system
- Structured race day format designed for new and experienced riders
- Camping available from Friday afternoon
The event is expected to draw a strong entry of riders from across the UK, all eager to dial in their setups and gain valuable race experience ahead of Round 1 May 9th and 10th.
2026 BRITISH MASTERS BIGGER THAN EVER
The 2026 Amped EMX Sparks British Masters will run across six championship rounds, featuring multiple venues and a wide range of classes, including:
- Electric Balance Bikes (12” to 20”+)
- Electric MX Classes (E-Mini through to E65 and E8/E9 categories)
- NEW for 2026: Petrol 65cc and 85cc classes
With Amped Bikes confirmed as Title Sponsor, the series continues to grow in stature, backed by key industry partners and increasing national exposure.

The 2026 season raises the bar with an enhanced awards package, including:
- Trophies for top 3 in each class
- Trophy boards for 4th–10th place
