Bad news for British Motocross with the announcment that the Acerbis Amateur Nationals will not be running in 2026 due to the lack of registered riders.

Only aprox 45 riders have registered so far for the championship, which was set to kick off in about nine weeks’ time on the 22nd and 23rd March at Culham.

Organiser Darren Hudson posted a heartfelt video on the championships’ social media channels stating that the “Cost of Living crisis” was to blame for the lack of numbers signing up for the series, which has always, until the end of last year, attracted great entries.
Let’s hope that the Championship will return in the future, and that all other Race events and Series in the UK are well supported so we do not lose any more this year.
