Registration for the 2026 Scottish Motocross Championship is now open, and once again, the series is set for another superb season in a stunning set of tracks.
Classes available for 2026 include –
Pro Class (MX1 & MX2)
Expert Class
Amateur Class
Vets Class (V40, V50, & V60)
2 Stroke Class (Open & 150cc)
Youth Class (125CC & 250CC)
BW85cc Class
SW85cc Class
65cc Class
AUTO 50cc Class
For 2026, 65cc riders, SW85cc riders, BW85cc riders, & Youth 125cc riders, will all get the chance to compete on Sunday in front of the crowds at the start of the main event programme.
Youth 250cc riders will have the chance to compete in MX2 for those riders on a dual license.
The Auto 50cc class will race only on Saturdays. This is the stepping stone into the sport and needs to be both affordable and accessible for those wishing to try motocross out.

MX1 & MX2 classes will race combined and will be scored separately. The Pro Class will return to three races in an effort to ease progression from the Youth and Expert classes.
Prize money will be redistributed to remunerate riders down to 15th in both MX1 and MX2.
2 Stroke Open and 2 Stroke 150cc classes will continue to see riders remunerated down to 8th place.
Scotland will continue to have the most affordable entries, the largest overall prize fund, and some of the best tracks in the UK.
