The 2026 MXGP of Switzerland threw up a good few curveballs in Round 3 of the 2026 FIM World Motocross Championship.
Tom Vialle would take the MXGP victory ahead of Maxime Renaux and Tim Gasjer, in what was a dramatic day for this class. Vialle would win the opener, but Lucas Coenen and Jeffrey Herlings would both suffer DNF with chain issues. Coenen would come back to win moto 2, but Vialle fought back from an early race fall to finish 6th and take the overall with it.
Adam Sterry got in the points in both motos for 20th overall while Ben Watson had a tough day and notched up a single point with a 20th in Race 2.
The reigning MX2 World Champion took the Race 1 victory and the overall lead of Race 2 victor Guillem Farres, with Liam Everts getting on the box in third.
Ollie Colmer ended the weekend in 16th.
