The 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship is coming back to Europe after a brilliant opener in Argentina. For the very first time, the city of Almonte, in the picturesque province of Huelva, will welcome the MXGP and MX2 World Championships for the MXGP of Andalucia, but also kick off the EMX250 and EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing European Championships on its sandy track on the 21st and 22nd of March.

Fresh from his British Champs victory at Hawkstone Park, Ben Watson will be making his first MXGP appearance for his new Dirt Store Triumph Racing team. Adam Sterry on his Chambers Racing KTM will also be lining up in the Premier class. Oriol Oliver, who was second at Hawkstone behind Watson, will continue his MXGP campaign for the Gabriel SS24 KTM team also.
Sterry’s teammate Ollie Colmer, who finished a great second in the first moto of the MX2 class of the British, will line up in MX2 and is the lone Brit.

Over in EMX250 Dirt Store Triumphs, Billy Askew and Privateer Joe Brookes will be looking to begin their campaign with a strong result in Spain, as will Irish racer Cole McCullough.
Drew Stock stormed to a double moto win at Hawkstone in the 125cc class and will be looking to build on this perfomance in the EMX125 class this weekend in Spain. He is joined by fellow Brits Hayden Statt on his Chambers Racing KTM and Brian Gyles.
