2026 British Motocross Championship – MX2 Team Signings so far

Following on from our MX1 rider and team signing update, now time to take a look at who has been signed by whom for the MX2 class of the 2026 Motul ACU British Motocross Championship, which once again is pitching the old guard against the rookies and young guns, which makes for a super interesting blend and which served up so much great racing in 2025.

Current Champ Tommy Searle is back with the Dirt Store Triumph Racing team and will once again be a force to be reckoned with, but the likes of hard-charging young guns Charlie Heyman, Ben Mustoe, Joe Brookes, Ollie Colmer, Calum Mitchell and Josh Vail all have another winter of training under their belts and will be fitter and faster and more determined than ever and all continue with their teams from this year, so will be in familiar surroundings.

When it comes to experience, Jake Nicholls and Davy Pootjes have plenty of it, which will put them in the mix.

Joining the fray after a disappointing year in MX1 is Joel Rizzi on the Seven Seven 2 Ride Kawasaki, and he will have his eyes on the title after looking so good in MX2 in 2024.

On the 2 Smokers, John Adamson (Phoenix Tools Fantic) and Brad Todd will be entertaining for sure and have the ability to be at the sharp end.

Rookie-wise, 2025 British 125cc champion Charlie Richmond and the talented Jamie Keith will be ones to watch and will be looking to get some strong top ten results in their debut MX2 seasons.

Keep your eyes on the site for future rider and team updates.
