The MX1 class of the 2026 Motul ACU British Motocross Championship is brewing up to a cracker, with the latest big news being that MXGP star Ben Watson has joined the party after being announced as the latest Dirt Store Triumph rider.
The battle between Watson and the reigning Champion Conrad Mewse on his Crendon Tru7 Honda is intriguing to say the least, and throw in Apico Honda’s new signing Josh Gilbert and Adam Sterry of Chambers Racing KTM, there is sure to be some epic duals at the sharp end in 2026.

Launch into the mix, Oriol Oliver, who is strongly rumoured to be riding a 450 for the Gabriel SS24 KTM team (the team haven’t confirmed this, so it is not on our list below) and Bobby Bruce on a privateer Honda, and you’ll have plenty of quality on the line capable of pushing for podiums in 2026.
