With most of the AMCA individual motocross honours already decided, it’s time to go team racing this coming Sunday, 27th September, as riders gather for the second staging of the AMCA Motocross of Clubs. The venue for the action, hosted by the Teme Valley MXC, is Boraston near Tenbury Wells, WR15 8NB, and it’s sure to be a thriller!

Participating AMCA clubs will enter three riders for each of the classes: Inter Juniors, Juniors, Seniors, Experts and Veterans Over 40s. Throughout the meeting, there will then be three motos for each class, with riders from each club and category getting two outings each. At the beginning of the day, Team managers will draw pegs for their riders’ start positions, which will then be relevant for the entire meeting. Start pegs will be numbered 1-20, so whoever gets peg number 1 will get the 1st and 40th choice of gate; peg number 2 will get the 2nd and 39th gate choice and so on! Under the same scoring system used in the Motocross of Nations and just like any team event, the ultimate aim on Sunday will be to ensure that all of your competing riders finish the race as far up the leaderboard as possible, showing consistency and avoiding the dreaded DNF!
Contesting the 2026 action will be 12 clubs: Clwyd and Chester, Tameside, Polesworth, Worfield, Potteries, Burton and District, Cannock, Burntwood Barracudas, Merthyr, Wrekin and District, North Staffs and the home club Teme Valley.
Unfortunately, last year’s winners, Middlewich MXC, will not be competing, so can Tameside, who were runners-up, or Potteries in 3rd now move on up and put their name on the 2026 trophy?
