2026/2027 FIM Sand Races World Championship - Calendar

Todd Kellet will begin his FIM Sand Races World Championship title defence in Morocco as the 2026/2027 calendar is released, with five rounds on the schedule this year, with Le Touquet once again being the final round on a date just to be confirmed.

The post about the calendar on the Championship social media channels said:

With the schedule condensed from six to five rounds to reduce logistical costs and encourage participation, the title fight will get under way with the all-new 🇲🇦 Morocco Sand Race across the weekend of 26-27 September that will be staged on the beach at Mazagan (El Jadida), located around one-hundred kilometres south of the fabled city of Casablanca, on the Atlantic coast.

Competitors will then return to more familiar surroundings for 🇮🇹 Italy’s Bibione Sand Storm that is back for the third consecutive season and will run from 23-25 October.

Last visited as part of the championship in 2024, the Ronde des Sables – Loon Plage, near Dunkerque in northern France 🇫🇷, returns to the calendar for round three on 7-8 November before the action shifts south to 🇵🇹 Portugal’s beautiful Algarve where the Monte Gordo Sand Race – a firm favourite on the calendar since the series’ inaugural year in 2023 – is scheduled for 27-29 November.

The 2026-2027 FIM Sand Races World Championship will conclude in the New Year with the fifty-first edition of the world-famous Enduropale du Touquet Pas-de-Calais in northern France 🇫🇷 on a date to be confirmed.
