Sadly, for the second year in a row, the MX Master Kids has been cancelled with the 2025 staging not being able to run “due to enforcement action related to local noise regulations.”
The UK’s biggest Youth Motocross event has had a torrid time the last few years, but having been taken over by AMC Promotions for 2025, entries piled in for what was set to be an exciting three-day weekend of racing at Preston Docks from the 23rd to the 25th of May.
At 2 pm the organisers had the full intent to run with a revised schedule, posting out the below on their Social Media:
Important Announcement❗
The organisers’ of the 2025 Troy Lee Designs MX Master Kids UK regret to inform participants, teams, and spectators that due to enforcement action related to local noise regulations to the track, changes to the event schedule are now necessary.
While we are extremely disappointed by this development, we must comply with local authority requirements in order to ensure that the event can proceed.
The revised format for the 2025 event will be as follows:
Saturday: Free Practice Session & Qualifying Session
Sunday: Sighting Lap & Three Competitive Motos
Monday: Podium Presentation
We know this is a change from the usual structure and may come as a disappointment. Unfortunately, our hands are tied and everyone from the organisers, Lee & his team and NORA has worked together in the last 24 hours, and this is the only format that allows the event to take place under the current restrictions.
As a gesture of goodwill, all riders who compete at the event will receive a £50.00 refund after the event and Lee from Preston Docks will be offering all riders who compete a free ride pass for Preston Docks. We hope this helps to offset the impact of the revised format and shows our appreciation for your continued support and understanding.
We remain fully committed to delivering a memorable weekend of racing and ensuring the best experience possible for our young riders and their families.
Let’s go racing – see you on the weekend!
But at 5pm the Promoters posted that the event would be cancelled with the following statement:
The organisers of the 2025 Troy Lee Designs MX Master Kids UK regret to announce that this year’s event has been cancelled.
Following the recent announcement regarding enforced changes to the event format due to a planning noise enforcement, we have received significant feedback from riders and their families expressing disappointment and requesting refunds.
After careful consideration, and in light of the number of withdrawal requests, the organisers have made the difficult decision to cancel the event in full. This is not the outcome we hoped for, but it is clear that the revised format no longer aligns with the expectations of our riders, and continuing would not deliver the event experience we strive for.
We are as gutted as you all are as this is totally out of our control.
We ask that if you complete the refund request via the link below and any correspondences is via email to mxmasterkidsuk@nora92.com only.

Please bear with the team as they work through the emails and refunds over the coming days.
