Pohlbock Ebock 2 Electric Motocross bike to make UK debut at this weekend’s EXGB round!

This weekend’s EXGB British Indoor Electric X Championship rounds at the Wheeldon Off-Road Centre in Devon will see the UK debut of the much-anticipated Pohlbock Ebock 2 Electric Motocross Bike.

Former British Women’s Motocross Champion Beanie Reece will be riding the series on the pre development model of the Ebock 2, which has had some successful outings in its native Germany but hasn’t been raced anywhere else in the world or in the UK.

Beanie will be lining up against the likes of Electric race specialist Ben Clayton who has had success in the LX Tour in France as well as the PCR-E Sur-Ron Factory Racing rider Sam Winterburn.

Pohlbock’s UK based Business Development manager Lee Westbrook said of their involvement in the series, “We are really pleased and excited to be entering the EXGB series with Beanie Reece riding for us on one of our pre development bikes.

“We believe that electric MX is our sports future and as such want to not only promote our brand but also our sport and female participation within extreme sports. We believe EXGB is the starting point for a new generation of racing here in the UK and we simply need to be part of it.

“We are sure the bike will raise a lot of attention as it’s the first ‘ full mx bike to be raced in the series and anyone interested is welcome to come and chat. I’m hoping we can get a few quick guys to spin some laps for feedback.

“So, thanks to EXGB and I look forward to seeing everyone on the 12th.”

EXGB race director Paul Oughton said, “It’s hugely exciting to have the Pohlbock Ebock 2 racing with us at Wheeldon. Beanie has ridden at many of other events and it’s superb to see her be given the chance to strut her stuff in the new emerging sport of Electric X. We would like to thank Lee and the team at Pohlbock for joining our series, and it’s exciting for us to be working with pioneering brands that are at the forefront of how our sport is developing into the future.”

There are still a few spaces left if you would like to race your Electric Dirt Bike in the opening rounds of the 2022/2023 British Indoor Electric X Championship at Wheeldon Off-Road Centre in Devon on the 12th & 13th November with Electric Balance Bike through to Adult Electric Bikes running.
