Only a week since the first visit of this stunning new track set in the most picturesque landscape and knowing it was just a matter of survival at the most gnarliest track in the UK.

Qualifying saw Josh finish P11. Sunday morning the track had some rain overnight and was another day of true grit and determination ahead banging bars with 450f’s.

Race 1 saw JT pushing top 10 in the MX2 class and although he had a tough time he managed to bring home a 11th and a satisfactory finish with the bike not missing a beat.

Race 2 again saw conditions deteriorating on track with rain coming in early afternoon which saw the start full of standing water and a situation of getting so much roost off the bigger bikes meant the goggles were off on the 2nd corner and having to pit at the end of the first lap to change them.

Back on track and last in mx2, JT had his work cut out, however playing it safe he rode consistently and stayed out of trouble picking off enough riders to earn himself 10th in the final race of the day and claiming 9th overall on the day in mx2.

Shaun Anthony – Team Manager – “Pre season prep for Josh was good but to be honest we never expected these conditions for the first round … we are glad it’s over and we can look positively to the next rounds and see JT’s full potential. It’s been a tough couple of weeks and not the start anyone saw coming, especially when we are pushing for Josh’s first season in mx2 and the best championships in the UK bringing him from the Expert class to the Pros.

“The crf 250 has Been on point and the 4power engine has not missed a beat in tough conditions.”
