Lewis went wild for the tracks!! Kensworth SMXC Club Championship Round 4 – Race Report & Results

KSMXC headed to Wildtracks for their fourth round, the track was prime!!

The competitive schoolboy’s started the day. Tyler Etheridge dominated race one in the four stroke class, but Charlie Sellick showed his class and pulled a 1-2-2 out the bag to take the overall. Etheridge took second overall, with Ashton Humphries taking third with a great consistent ride. Max Smith and Ryeden Dennis battled in the two stroke class. Smith took the victory, even though he went down in the second Moto. Dennis took second with Jamie Kuehn third.

In the Over 35’s Stevie Worts and Matty White went bar to bar, Matty had the edge on the day to take a clean sweep. Worts took second, with Paul Wildman Willis taking third, but was kept honest throughout the day, by Stuart Scott and Darren Knight.

In the fast under 35 group, Richard Carter showed he loved the conditions with taking two race wins, in the final Moto, he went down on the start, but managed to recover to 7th to take the victory. Daryl Wallis took second with Aiden Maloney taking third.

Jake Brown rode to victory in the big wheel class, with a 1-1-1. William Murphy took a great consistent second with Riley Nicholls taking the final podium position.

In the Auto class Stanley Lewis showed his speed and class on the KTM 50, except in the last race when conditions turned wet and technical and he took slippery fall just before the finish, he got up though and finished the race to take the victory on the day. A great consistent ride from Jesse King saw him take the second final place with Colby Briscombe taking third.

Rocco Hands and Blake Ward-Clarke went bar to bar in the Smallwheel 85 class. With some great racing from them both. Ward-Clarke had the edge in the technical conditions in race three to take the victory. Rylee Clark had a great consistent ride to take the third podium position.

Riley-Ray Barrow took the overall in junior 65 class with a 2-1-1. Junior Carroll-Stone took the second podium position with Brooklyn Gabbitas taking third.

Well done to all the riders. Thanks to the committee, workers, sponsors Willis property maintenance, Motoward and the Wildtracks team for providing a great day. KSMXC head to Milton Malsor for round five of their championship on the 12th September.
