Chinese motorcycle manufacturer KOVE has officially announced it will enter the FIM Motocross World Championship in 2027, with a new factory team set to compete in the premier MXGP class.
The ambitious new project will see two KOVE Factory Racing riders line up in MXGP, with experienced Team Manager Tom Steensels heading up the operation.
While the identities of the two riders have yet to be revealed, KOVE says work is already well underway behind the scenes, with development, testing and team building taking place ahead of its arrival on the world stage.
The move represents a major expansion of KOVE’s international racing programme, with the manufacturer making it clear that this isn’t intended to be a short-term venture. Instead, the brand is targeting a long-term presence at the highest level of motocross.

KOVE will enter the FIM Motocross World Championship in 2027 with its own Factory Racing Team.
