Team GB enjoyed a hugely positive Day Five at the 2026 FIM 6DAYS Enduro of Nations in Grândola, Portugal, with strong individual performances across all three Trophy categories as the sandy conditions played to the British riders’ strengths.

A revised race format saw riders complete five special tests, with a 70-minute time check and a parc fermé stop in the middle of the day. The unusual format was a first for many competitors, but it allowed for a fuller day of racing while helping to manage the persistent dust, with riders setting off at one-minute intervals.
Brad Freeman led the charge for the Men’s Trophy Team, delivering an excellent performance to finish third overall. Building momentum throughout the day, Freeman saved his best for last, winning the final special test outright to cap off a strong day in the sand. Nathan Watson also enjoyed a solid performance, finishing eighth overall, while Jed Etchells placed 24th.
In the Women’s Trophy, Lucy Barker secured an excellent third-place finish, earning a place on the podium after another strong day in Portugal. Rosie Rowett finished 11th overall, contributing to a positive day for the remaining Women’s Trophy riders.
The Junior Trophy riders also continued to battle hard, with Sam Hughes finishing 22nd and Callum Hughes 24th in class.
With the final day of the 100th edition of the 6DAYS now approaching, attention turns to tomorrow’s concluding motocross races, where Team GB will look to finish the week on a high.
