The Wallop Enduro, organised by Wayback MCC, played host to Round One of the new British series for youth riders aged 14-18. The series is designed to introduce young riders to traditional Timecard enduro, helping build the next generation of riders for success at home and abroad at events such as EnduroGB, World Enduro GP, and the International Six Day Enduro (ISDE).
With a 16-mile lap and two separate Special Tests ridden every lap (save for a sighting lap), over 30 youth riders lined up to take the start, alongside adult riders in the South East Enduro Combine Championship and ACU Classic British Enduro Championship. Youth classes include Expert (five laps), Clubman (four laps) and Sportsman (three laps). In the Youth Expert class, Eddie Belton of the Sudbury club took first place, pipping Tomos Jones to the post by 42 seconds, and Joe Drysdale completed the podium.

Youth Clubman saw Dyfed Dirt Bike Club riders George Sheldon and Theo Jones split by Harrison Rees (Rhayader) for the podium, and Youth Sportsman saw Harry Nott (Sudbury) take the honours, ahead of Ethan Dubber (Witley) aboard his 85cc machine.
Series Coordinator, Huw Watkins, said: “A huge thank you to the whole team behind The Wallop Enduro by Wayback MCC. The course was not only stunning and scenic, but the whole day flowed brilliantly. It was fantastic to see the support from parents and families for the next generation of Youth riders, and we look forward to seeing you all at Round 2!”
ACU Enduro Commission Chairman and Clerk of the Course for The Wallop Enduro, Tristan Robinson said: “It’s fantastic to see the next generation of enduro riders being introduced to traditional Timecard events. The Enduro Commission are committed to investing in the future of our sport with the Enduro Academy, and this new ACU Youth Series.”
