The 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship rolls into the deep sand of Arnhem this weekend, with the MXGP of the Netherlands hosting Round 16 of the series on August 22-23.

With the championship heading into its closing stages, the Dutch GP provides another crucial weekend for the MXGP and MX2 contenders as they tackle one of the toughest sand races on the calendar.
Jeffrey Herlings heads to his home Grand Prix in outstanding form after another perfect weekend in Sweden, while the MX2 title battle continues to tighten following Sacha Coenen’s double victory at Uddevalla.

From the British angle, it’s the usual suspects in MXGP and MX2 with Ben Watson, Adam Sterry and Ollie Colmer looking to rack up some more World Championship points, while Lucy Barker will be looking to turn her sand prowess into big results in WMX, where she is joined by Lauren Collingwood.
The big news is double MXGB MX2 moto winner Jamie Keith joining the fray in EMX250, where Joe Brookes will want to continue on from his great podium in Sweden, and Billy Askew will want to match his epic result in the Lommel sand fest.
