The MXGP and MX2 qualifying races of the 2026 MXGP of Portugal are done, as are the first EMX250 and EMX125 motos.

Lucas Coenen took the win in MXGP, while Guillem Farres took the chequers in MX2. In EMX250, Francisco Garcia kept up his great form with the victory, and Sleny Goyer claimed the win in EMX125.
From the British angle, there was a strong ride in MXGP for Ben Watson with 13th, while Adam Sterry was 16th. In MX2 Ben Mustoe was 14th one place ahead of Ollie Colmer in 15th.
Joe Brookes rode a stormer in EMX250, finishing fourth, although he did hold third for most of the moto. It was a tough slog for the Brits in EMX125 with 24th for Drew Stock, 28th for Hayden Statt and 31st for Brian Gyles.
