Youth Racing NOT permitted to start with the ACU on the 4th July.

FXR

On Wednesday the ACU released a statement with regards to issuing Competition permits on and from the 4th July, but there wasn’t clear if this included Youth racing or not.

Since then clubs have received confirmation that in this phase (phase 3) of the ACU’s return to racing plan, the competition permits don’t include Youth classes or events. As of yet, no date has been given for when the fourth phase will come into play and what that will include.

In the email from the ACU to the clubs, they have detailed events which still won’t be able to commence on the 4th July as per the below…

“No two day events
No Spectators allowed
No Sidecar Sport
No Youth Sport
No overnight camping. (Riders will be expected to arrive early on the morning of the event or practice)
Adult riders must be 16 years of age or over (Practice & Competition)
Reduced rider numbers for practice and small events
On site = Rider + 1 additional person
No National Events or British Championships to be run in this phase”
