With the required three rounds already run they took the title with 43 points, beating the defending champions Mark Cossar/Carl Blyth by a slender two points. Mick Cave/Bradley Steer complete the Championship rostrum in third place with 34 points.

A spokesman for ACU Events stated “Despite the disappointing end to the season it has been a fabulous year for Sidecar Speedway GB. All our events including the Team Challenge and Somerset Spectacular have provided us with so much excitement. The popularity of the 1000cc Sidecars on the shale has grown year by year and we are delighted to be able to announce that ACU events will continue to support British Sidecar Speedway in 2019.”

Sidecar Speedway GB would also like to thank Teng Tools and all the race sponsors that have supported the series over the year. A Teng Tools voucher for £500 will go to the winner of the series with £300 and £200 vouchers going to the second and third.
