In the Schoolboys 250 class Callum McCaul showed he loved the rough sand conditions and took a clean sweep. Leon Ongley and Arnets Phberzs, fought for the other podium positions Ongley took second with great consistency. Phberzs took third

Harrison Forde was flying in the schoolboy 125 class, he battled with the fast four strokes. As he took 1-1-1, Freddie O’Leary took second, with Callum Murfit third.

The smooth cool as a cucumber Blake Ward-Clarke dominated the junior 65 class with a 1-1-1. Rylee Clark and Toby Buchan both battled for the other podium positions, Clark took second with a 2-3-2. Buchan took third.

James Buchan – Big Wheel 85’s

Great racing took place in the Small Wheel 85 class. Brothers Chester and Teddy Hyde, battled with Rocco Hands and Louis Perrin-Brown for the podium positions, Chester’s cool determination on the day, see him take the overall with a 1-2-1, Rocco Hands who made a few mistakes took second with a 1-2-3, with Teddy Hyde who improved throughout the day taking third.

The race of the day for me was the Auto’s. It was showdown time for Riley-Ray Barrow and Olivia Reynolds to battle to be crowned Kensworth’s 2019 Auto champions, Olivia had to beat Riley, to stay within touching distance, to take it to the last round for a head to head. Smooth Barrow though knew what job needed to be done, even though Olivia was there on his tail the whole time, Barrow didn’t let it get to him, kept a cool head and smoothly took the overall, to be crowned KSMXC 2019 Auto Champion. Nothing could be taken away from Reynolds determination though as she took second, and second overall in the championship. Tommie Perfect took third overall with a great consistent ride.

Joey Livingston – Auto’s

Daniel Ashmore dominated in the under 35 class and took the top podium spot with some awesome riding, beating a consistent Bill Moynes, who took second overall with Daryl Wallis taking third.

In the over 35 class Stevie Worts dominated the day. Racing against his Dad in his first Vets race at KSMXC, Stevie showed he was loving conditions as he whipped over the finish line each time, the chequered flag was raised for him. Wildman Willis stayed consistent on his 250 and took second overall. Stuart Scott who raced most of the day with his goggles around his handle bars took third.

Wildman Willis – Over 35’s

Charlie Reynolds, Alby Smith, James Buchan and Liam Bennet fought it out in the Big Wheel 85’s. Reynolds who was flying took a DNF in race one, so couldn’t fight for the overall. So Smith, Buchan and Bennet took advantage and battled it out, Smith just had the edge of Buchan to take the overall with Buchan second and Bennet third. Buchan and Smith go to Kensworth’s last round at Wroxton with just one point in it for the 2019 championship.

To book in to Wroxton on the 6th October visit go race.
