Pleasing to see so many young riders entered in the youth classes. Channel Islander Thomas Vining has made the step up to the Junior Class this season and looked very impressive on his debut in the class.
The Inters class looked very strong, with Jake Mulford suffering a few issues which stopped him from winning, despite looking fast. Cameron Taylor, who also has stepped up a class, won the event in his first Inters appearance.
There is so much talent in the youth classes at present. Archie Rolph and Oliver Bovingdon scrapped over the Autos class.
In the Pre 75 classes it was a win in the 250’s from the evergreen Giles Dismore, while in the 350’s it was Martin Adams that tasted glory, and in the 500’s Neil Copestake took the top spot.
Neil Taylor revved his 350 to the Open class win from Ryan and Liam Ashcroft in second and third respectively.
In the Uprights Luke Tuck prevailed in the 350’s, while it was Tim Curnock who headed the field in the 500’s.
Alan Boxhall was victorious in the GT140’s, and Nick Wright pulled off the Quad class win.
There was plenty of good racing throughout. All is available on Grasstracksport’s Vimeo network so definitely worth a look for a quid.
Congratulations to Neil Waddoups, Luke Tuck and everyone involved in getting 2019 off the line!
