There was a good win for Stephen Green, who looked very impressive in the 500cc Solo class.
Tim Greig goes straight to his usual spot at the top of the National Gradings List with a convincing display in the 250s.
Four wheel warrior Nick Wright put in another tremendous display in the quads.
The Youth Juniors and Inters was one of the best looking line-ups seen in the youth for years. Lots of very talented youngsters. A bizarre moment in the second heat put paid to rising star Jake Mulford’s hopes for a win, but Sam Norris was perfectly placed to capitalise.
After turning the outfit over in practice, Tom Cossar and Wayne Rickards showed their mettle, winning every time they came to the tapes.
A massive entry of GT140s showed that this class continues to grow strong. Speedway teenager Charlie Brooks was a clear winner, but plenty of fantastic scraps in the rest of the field.
A good day’s racing, made difficult by slippery track conditions. Mid meeting drizzle tried its best to stop the action, but everyone persevered and the meeting reached its conclusion. Well done GWR Racing once again.
2019 is go!
