Dylan Spencer has been making the 125cc class his own but James Hanscomb is a racer on the rise and will be looking for this to be the round he reels in the leader.

In the 250 2 Strokes Denny Rapson holds the number 1 spot by just 8 points from James Lassu and with Bradley Wheeler back on form and Adam Harris always a contender who can be sure this round will be keenly fought.

Three racers have been dominating the MX1 class and its Edward Briscoe that has emerged so far with the lead but only by two points over Lewis Trickett with Andy Wilson within striking distance just 30 points behind the top spot.

Scott Hamilton has racked up an astonishing 10 moto wins this season and not surprisingly tops the MX2 standings from Jordan Martin, Seb Berthiaume, round 1 winner Troy Jones and Ashley Benisten. Along with these guys winner last time round Olly Jones will all be looking to claw back the deficit on Hamilton.

Ben Stanley has been in great form in the Junior Open category but last time around he was toppled by Luke Price so these two will be the ones to watch this weekend.

There is a three battle in the Ladies class between series leader Nadiya Jones, Jane Daniels and Kady Moore so this will be an interesting contest for sure as they are separated by just 26 points.

Brian Wheeler is the absolute master in the Vets over 40 class being unbeaten from 14 races so far, so the question is will anyone be able to topple him at Sherwood??

In the Vets Over 50 class Chris Brown holds the red plate, with his closest rivals Morton Hannah and Nev King both needing a good round so that Brown doesn’t sail off into the distance.

The track postcode is NG21 9HI. For more info follow the series Facebook page
